Guerilla Marketing

Guerrilla marketing is where companies try to market their products or goods in an unconventional method“Guerrilla marketing”（游击营销）指的是企业尝试用一种非传统的方式来推销他们的产品

Anyway small companies try to take advantage of guerrilla marketing通常来说，小企业会尝试采用“guerilla marketing ”（游击营销）这种方式

because their budgets are small, but now large companies are also trying to take advantage.因为小企业预算都比较少，但现在大企业也开始尝试利用这种营销方式

A very good example recently is that in the last Olympics一则近来出现的案例就发生在上届奥林比克运动会上

One company selling headphones gave the headphones free to some of the athletes, so they can wear it on the track一家耳机销售公司向一些运动员免费提供耳机，让他们在场上戴着这些耳机

and it’s really good advertisement on the international scale.这绝对是一个很棒的国际性广告

And it was free.而且还是免费的哦

Another good method for guerrilla marketing is making a viral video and then putting product placement in that viral video.另外使用“游击营销”的好方法就是制作病毒式视频，然后在视频中植入产品

ASTRONOMICAL

Our next term today is astronomical, that is actually an adjective,我们今天要学习的第二个单词是“ astronomical”（极大地，巨大的），这是个形容词

and it means extremely large.意思是非常巨大的

But Ali, what astronomical thing are we talking about?但是艾力，你我们今天要讨论的这个庞然大物是什么？

Wages. Specifically the wages of some celebrities.薪酬，尤其是部分名人的薪酬

Liu Zai Shi,a very popular Korean star in an also very popular Korean show, Running Man also originally aired in Korea.刘在石是人气很旺的韩国明星，也是韩国非常热门的综艺节目《Running Man》的参与人员，而该节目是中国跑男的最初版本

Now Stu can you guess how much money Liu Zai Shi gets paid per episode?司徒，你来猜猜看，刘在石的单集拍摄薪酬有多高？

Well, it’s actually 60,000 RMB per episode.好吧，不逗你了，其实他的单集收入是 60,000人民币

Thatwas Deng Chao who stars in the Chinese version of Running Man这位就是邓超，中国版《跑男》的参与明星

and he receives 1 million RMB per episode.他单集拍摄收入是100万人民币

Scrimp

The next term today is scrimp.我们要学的最后一个词组是“scrimp”（精打细算）

Now that word often goes together with another word-save. Scrimp and save.这个单词通常和另外一个单词-save（节省）一起出现，“Scrimp and save”（省吃节用）

scrimping and saving basically means being thrifty and saving money as much as you can.“scrimping and saving ”基本上意思就是省吃俭用，尽可能地节省下米米

Or in other words being economical.换句话来说就是“being economical”（节约的）

Now I scrimp and save every penny, because I one day hope to  own a Japanese robot.现在我就在省吃俭用，因为我希望有一天我能拥有属于自己的日本机器人
